This was not our first year participating in the annual Green Up Day! Every year community members walk the sides of the roads and join efforts to “Green Up Vermont”. The turnout is always amazing and people are always happy to lend a helping hand to keep Vermont clean. We held a BBQ for all volunteers who participated to thank them for their efforts.

Our dealership employees also enjoy this event! Mike Loschiavo, our Dealer Principal, is the most involved at our dealership. He drives around town in a dump truck and picks up trash that has been collected on the side of the road by countless town-wide volunteers. He brings the trash back to the dealership and disposes of it for the volunteers that want to help but just can’t get to the dealership where the dumpster are located to get rid of the trash.

We had many sponsors that helped make Green-Up day possible! We would like to thank Subaru of New England, Top Carpet Cleaners, North Country Federal Credit Union, Union Bank, Coke Bottlers, Vermont Coffee Roasters, Passumpsic Savings Banks, Dunkin Donuts, Cabot Cheese, St Johnsbury Academy Culinary Arts Class, McDonald’s, Price Chopper Super Markets, Walmart Stores and Green Mountain Coffee (Keurig) for donating the supplies and food to make the BBQ happen!
We are so proud to be part of an event that helps keep our state beautiful and green. We look forward to next year!
